Chronic Ever After

I’m back! And I’m back with a new name and site identity!

And I can not tell you how excited I am. Years ago, when blogging was cool, I’m going to believe it’s always been cool and it’s still cool, but I digress. . .

I went under a totally differnet name and when that life ended and other things stepped in and took it’s place I missed the book community and the fun parts of blogging and typing away my thoughts about books. So I came back with Alice & Eyre, I never could fully commit like I had in my previous bookish life. . .but I settled and it was okay. But it never matched who I was becoming.

Who I was becoming over the last two years past, was a woman who recognizes her neurodivergence and her chronic pain and illness and how utterly important books are to her survival.

Add to that a chosen hiatus from social media and blogging that lasted nearly a year, I decided it was time to come back and this time I have found a name and identity within the book community that better fits me and truly settles well for me and who I am.

So, I will be known herafter as the Chronic Ever After girl.

I read books, and find absolute joy and peace within written worlds. The world we live in is truly an ugly place with what feels like almost no soul left so I choose to dissociate at every chance within fictional worlds and I hope you’ll join me.
