Ummmm. . .wow. That was fun.Right from the moment the book begins you’re dropped right into the kinky fun and become prey yourself as this story and these characters take you for a crazy run through the trees.

Willing Prey is super fast paced and quick to deliver you right into the premise of the hunter and the hunted. There isn’t a moment of hesitation as the hunt begins. Easy reading and super smutty, this was fun and a sort of palette cleanse from deeper darker reads. 

Claire, our delightful FMC is has got some grit and some spunk and really enjoys the primal play so much so that when she is down on her luck after a painfully messy divorce she jumps at the chance to be prey for a man who works with her ex and who is offering her a 30 day agreement with a $30,000 payday.

Shane is a man obsessed with our girl Claire and since hearing that she likes to be hunted at a Christmas party hasn’t been able to get her out of his head or his wants. Jumping on a chance to play knight in chasing glory to Claire’s broke damsel, it’s only supposed to be 30 days and $30,000, what neither knows is that its about to be a catalyst to a seriously spicy romance.

This is a bit unhinged, in a good way, the primal play is electric, super spicy, and can border on a bit too rough for me personally, but still manages to bring it with each and every moment in those woods. The chemistry and obsession between the characters is sooooo good. 

Willing Prey is fun, it’s just pure kink romance fun, I had a good time overall, and would recommend it to anyone looking for spice and kink exploration including, obviously, primal play, that doesn’t take itself too seriously and provides a simply smutty fun treat.
